A tutorial can best be described as website that teaches a particular skill step by step. There are several benefits of a tutorial. First, students can learn at their own pace. Finally, a tutorial can help supplement instruction where there are time constraints and learning needs to be completed outside the classroom.

Problem Solving
While the concept seems simple, I refer to this type of site as the hypothesis/conclusion website. Usually when you are learning about a particular topic, there is a problem given with an expected answer. Therefore, most of these websites offer the conclusion (which is the tool) and the user then determines the hypothesis.
In the Pyramid Builder game, students follow the rules used thousands of years ago to build a pyramid successfully for the King. Using the Mummy Maker game, the King's soul is reunited with his body when he successfully embalmed.
Games
Games are an ingenious way of introducing difficult or "boring" content in a fun, interesting way. These websites appeal to the students’ hobbies and interests while incorporating content that can otherwise be challenging to teach.
The websites I included teach students to manage two different businesses, a Coffee Shop and a Pizza Shop. Both are business based and students appreciate the challenge of satisfying customers while earning money within the parameters of the game.
